How Does the Process Work?

Before the application, the person's expectations, skin or scalp condition, and general health history are evaluated. If deemed suitable, a small amount of blood is taken from the person, and this blood is processed in a special device to separate the platelet-rich plasma.

The plasma obtained is delivered to the planned area using an appropriate technique. The procedure is generally performed under outpatient conditions and, while it varies from person to person, may take a short time. After the application, temporary redness or sensitivity may be observed in the area; these conditions are followed up under the physician's guidance.

It should be kept in mind that the effects of PRP may be temporary and that renewal applications may come up over time. The number of sessions and intervals are not standard; they are planned individually by the physician. Whether the application can be performed and how it will be planned depend on the result of the examination.
